PYP TEACHER - REQUIRED FOR A LEADING IB WORLD SCHOOL IN SINGAPORE
Prospero Teaching are recruiting for qualified PYP (Primary) Teacher for a K-12 IB international school in Singapore - contract start date: August 2020.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
The school boasts impressive, state-of-the-art facilities on a campus situated right in the heart of the city.
The academic program consists of the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, built into the framework of the rigorous American Education Reaches Out (AERO) standard.
The successful PYP Teacher will become a member of an established Elementary school team, delivering outstanding teaching based on the Primary Years Program (PYP).
The school caters for more than 75 nationalities of students ages 2-19.
The school offers ongoing opportunities for continual professional development and training in the IB programs.

Position - PYP Class Teacher
Type of work - Class Teacher - planning, assessment, extracurricular commitments, parents' evenings etc
Contract or position start date - August 2020
Duration - Two year contract
Contract or position end date - July 2022
Contract type - fixed contract
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - approximately £28,000 - 40,000 pa depending on experience (remuneration package including accommodation/housing allowance, visa and work permit, medical insurance, flight allowance)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Have a relevant teaching qualification: i.e. PGCE, B.Ed., BA (Hons) with QTS
Have a minimum of two years' teaching experience
Have experience teaching the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) curriculum
Ideally have experience teaching in an international school setting
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Be available to start in August 2020
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
