SAP FICO Business Analyst

Job type: Temporary

SAP FICO Business Analyst

Based in Kegworth (J24 of M1) with regular travel to all sites within UK

Are you a skilled SAP Business Analyst looking for your next role, with availability for an immediate start?  Do you have an operational background in Financial Controlling allowing you to understand the technical nature of the changes required? Are you on the lookout for a new challenge where you can apply your expertise in driving strategic initiatives, leading complex projects, and influencing organisational decision making within the SAP landscape?

Here at Refresco our Inspire SAP S/4HANA programme is underway, and we are looking for a Business Analyst to support the Financial Controlling aspect of the project. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation, and documentation skills.

Your Technical knowledge in Financial Controlling will allow you to cut through “noise” to define clear “to be” state – and your down to earth attitude will engage non-SAP teams (and senior stakeholders) by translating SAP terminology into clear concise language to bring colleagues on the journey.

This role is Hybrid, with 3 days based in Kegworth (J24 of M1), with regular travel to our sites (predominantly Bridgwater at the start of the project).

About the Role

You will report to the Programme Manager, part of a team of 8 Business Analysts specialising in their respective SAP S/4 HANA modules, and working closely with the entire SAP S/4 HANA Programme team plus Central IT, the Service Integrator and colleagues in Refresco Group based in Europe. You will need to travel when needed to our 6 Refresco UK manufacturing sites for kick off, progress tracking and readiness meetings and for the deployment of project changes.

You will act as a change champion and enabler, driving adoption of 'To Be' business solutions, helping with the transformation to new, standard ways of working in our target single application ERP landscape.

As an experienced Business Analyst (SME - Controlling), with SAP ERP implementation experience, you will have a good idea of the main duties and responsibilities involved in this role, but just to be transparent ........

'As Is' process expertise - work with the business to build an expert level of understanding of the current 'As Is' UK business procesess;
'To Be' process solution - work cross functionally and with all transformation programme colleagues to ensure new business processes meet requirements and are implemented successfully in Refresco UK;
Risk Management - identify potential risks and work with the Programme team to develop relevant risk mitigation proposals and solutions;
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business process stakeholders and address concerns and manage expectations;
Maintain accurate and up to date process documentation;
Facilitate workshops and presentations to validate business processes and solutions with stakeholders;
Evaluate available functionality and simplification terms for implementation;
Create testing scenarios and perform detailed system testing;
Develop training documentation and assist with end-user training.

About You

You will have already been in a Business Analyst - Controlling role in a medium to large company as part of a major ERP implementation SAP project.

You will have operational background experience in Financial Controlling, allowing you to understand the technical aspects of the role as well as the SAP 'to be' state

You will need previous experience of designing, building and integrating SAP processes, specifically in relation to 'Controlling' , as part of a wider SAP implementation or upgrade.

Exposure to a major SAP or other ERP 'greenfield' and 'brownfield' implementation is a key requirement - UK or international multi site programme.

FMCG or other fast paced manufacturing industry sector experience is an advantage.

Of course, you will be only too familiar with the core competences needed in such a role – good influencing skills, great at building stakeholder relationships, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with and communicate at all levels of the organisation, outstanding organisational, project planning and time management abilities and excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Reward & Benefits
We offer an attractive base salary and benefits plus car allowance. You will need to travel when needed to our 6 Refresco UK manufacturing sites for kick off, progress tracking and readiness meetings and for the deployment of project changes.
