We are seeking an individual with substantial experience in a similar role and a degree-level education is preferred. Candidates with a background in the education sector or private IT companies are highly desirable. Effective communication skills, proactive troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to simplify complex technical issues for clients are essential qualities we value.

Responsibilities:

As a Network & Security Support Engineer, your responsibilities will include being the primary point of contact for clients, providing day-to-day helpdesk support, managing web hosts, handling emails, and administering Microsoft 365. You will also conduct on-site visits to schools and businesses.

Key Duties:

Repair, maintain, install, and upgrade network infrastructure equipment such as routers switches and WIFI equipment as well as computers and servers.
Implement backup and Disaster Recovery solutions, and monitor their effectiveness.
Resolve client issues with various software applications and needs, demonstrating quick thinking and confidence in delivering successful outcomes.
Core business responsibilities include relevant project delivery.Desired Skills and Experience (or a willingness to learn):

WAN, LAN, and WiFi (Draytek, Omada, Unifi)
DNS, WHM, cPanel hosting interfaces
Telecoms application and hardware support
Cybersecurity knowledge, including best practices and Endpoint Protection methods
Azure/Entra, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies
Veeam, Hyper-V, VMwareBenefits:

Full-time 8:30-17:00 or part-time/reduced hours with a pro-rated salary.
