Senior Consultant – Project Manager

Our client, a leading built environment consultancy, is looking for an experienced PM to join their team. They offer their clients professional advice on projects valued between £1M to £500M+. and work across sectors and on projects around the world.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Delivery of project management services to clients across various sectors and project stages
Leading and management of multidisciplinary teams of internal and external design consultants
Manage existing client relationships and develop further opportunities
Build and maintain great teams.
Identifying and developing innovative solutions for clients
Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects – including monthly progress reports.
Assist with conducting feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc.
Monitoring the performance of contractors including contract administration (NEC3/4 and/or JCT)
Monitor and report on contractor’s progress on site.
Arrange, attend, chair, and record meetings as appropriate.
Under the direction of a Project Director, undertake the day-to-day management of projects. The level of autonomy offered on projects will be influenced by their scale and complexity.Key Skills and Experience:

Ability to lead and successfully deliver projects and manage client relationships, including business development.
Proven construction project management and managing professional teams experience required.
Experience within mixed use urban redevelopment (commercial office, residential and placemaking) would be beneficial.
Experience across the pre-construction stages of a project.
Microsoft Office software, including MS Project, in-depth experience is essential.
A degree in a construction-related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered.
Experience of report writing
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Confidence delivering presentations and holding client facing meetings. Reward Package:
