Product Manager- Fan Coil Unit - WD
What you will do
The Product Manager for Fan Coil Units is responsible for managing the Fan Coil Units Product Line activities in alignment with strategies while creating value with our product offerings. You will be located in Istanbul and will cover the whole MEA region, Europe and India.
Major responsibilities include creating the product line strategy, managing product line profitability, generating new market expansion, owning new product introduction and obsolescence, overseeing cost-out/value-engineering initiatives, defining and managing market research and assisting with brand development programs. Significant global, cross-functional interaction and project management is required across the organization with global sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and other functions.
How you will do it
As a Product Manager, you will be the voice of the market and customer within the organization, acquire a thorough understanding of the needs of the Fan Coil Units market by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers for our key verticals and geographic markets. You will deeply understand the competitive environment and our product competitive position; develop and implement product line strategies and product portfolio to serve global market while optimizing product life cycle and overall product line profitability. You will make competitive analysis and pricing strategy.
You will forecast for production planning purposes, drive and measure product launch and make portfolio sales training presentations to regions. You will track and assess product metrics for financial performance and present product strategy roadmap to customers, sales team, and at trade shows and drive product line rationalization (end of life) and product margin improvement.
What we look for
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering
At least 7 years of strong familiarity with HVAC equipment and systems in product or program management, marketing, applications, or sales
Must have demonstrable business management skills in a product management environment and must be technically savvy, possessing strong knowledge of field and business practices relating to the identified products.
Strong analytical skills
Have ability to work remotely and have the ownership and ability to provide innovative solutions to market needs.
Ability to understand different market dynamics and competition activity and build the product strategy according to market needs.
Strong knowledge of HVAC suppliers and their features/ranges and specifications.
Presenting to executive level leadership
Experience with financial statements
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English language
Ability to envision and introduce creative tools for fast and effective interaction with the field combining high technical complexity and commercial interests in a seamless and user-friendly manner would be a significant plus
