Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team at [Nursery Name]. Key Responsibilities:

Childcare & Education:

* Provide high-quality care, ensuring children's well-being, safety, and development at all times.

* Support the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities based on the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum.

* Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback and maintaining accurate records of development.

* Build and maintain positive relationships with children and their families, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Health & Safety:

* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, ensuring that the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating.

* Administer first aid as required and report any accidents or concerns in line with nursery policies.

Team Collaboration:

* Work closely with other practitioners to deliver a high standard of care and education.

* Participate in regular staff meetings, training, and development activities.

Parental Communication:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and caregivers, providing updates on children's progress and development.

* Encourage parental involvement and maintain open communication regarding children's needs and experiences.

Professional Development:

* Stay current with best practices in early childhood education and continuously seek opportunities for professional development.

Skills & Qualifications:

* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent).

* Experience working with young children, ideally within a nursery setting.

* Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with the ability to use initiative and work independently as well as part of a team.

* A passion for early childhood education and providing the best possible care for young children.

* First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

* Enhanced DBS check required.
