Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate, committed, and hard-working Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be joining our dynamic global Business Development team and will be pivotal in helping us achieve our ambitious business-growth strategy through lead-generation, pipeline management and building rapport with prospective clients.
The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include;
* Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking events.
* Qualification: Conduct thorough research to understand prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making processes. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and ensure alignment with our target market.
* Outreach and Engagement: Initiate meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their pain points and present tailored solutions that address their needs. Build rapport and establish credibility through effective communication and relationship-building strategies.
* Appointment Setting: Schedule qualified appointments and demos for the sales team. Coordinate logistics and ensure smooth handover of leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system. Track progress against targets and provide regular reports to management.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Gather insights from prospect interactions and share feedback with relevant teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
​What we are looking for:
* A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related subject (preferred but not essential if candidate has relevant experience)
* Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or customer-facing roles (1+ years of experience)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Results-orientated mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, and a can-do, enthusiastic attitude.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
