CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL - Our client is a leading Construction business operating across the UK, with a T/O c£70m and an enviable Blue Chip client base across retail, commerce and leisure. The role is based in NW London.
Key to the further development of the finance function in supporting the business will be the appointment of a Financial Controller (No 2 role) to support the FD overseeing a team of 10 staff and providing quality management information to aid decision making in the business.
Working closely with the Commercial Team and Department Heads, the role will include:-
* Oversee the day to day finance function
* Deputise for the FD when required
* Overhaul and develop finance systems (COINS)
* Provide quality management information
* Budgeting, forecasting and working capital management
This is a highly successful and growing business. Prospects for the new Financial Controller are excellent. Construction experience is essential, gained in a high volume, medium to large business. An accounting qualification is preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA) but relevant qualified by experience candidates will be considered
