Group Financial Controller

A PE backed niche service business with ambitious expansion plans is looking for a Group Financial Controller in Portsmouth. 

As Group Financial Controller, your duties will include but not limited to: 

Day to day management of the finance function of 10
Financial lead on leadership team meetings
Budgeting and forecasting
Monthly management accounts including the month end close process: closing the sub-ledgers, flash reporting, accruals and prepayments, month end balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets
Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements
Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance
Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings
Leading the roll out of the new ERP system
We’re looking for a Group Financial Controller with the following skills and experience: 

Qualified Accountant from big 4 background or similar
Experience of a PE backed business.
Experience of ERP system implementation
Self-motivation and being a team player are essential
Good man manager
This is a suitable if you are a Controller in a c£10 million turnover business or a Financial Accountant in a larger one.
