Position Description: Purpose The Talent Acquisition Advisor Serve as a primary point of contact to department leaders, faculty and staff regarding staffing inquiries and needs. Perform full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, networking, interviewing, reference checking and compensation offers for leadership level roles, while proactively maintains talent pipelines for leadership level roles. Provide consultation, training, and problem solving related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, Internet Applicant Rule, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable regulations. This role will serve as a mentor to Talent Acquisition Consultants and Administrative Staff and provide guidance in all areas of recruitment for MCW. Primary Functions - Serve as a primary point of contact to department leaders, faculty and staff regarding staffing inquiries and needs. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills while advising department leaders, faculty and staff regarding options to meet their needs regarding staffing practices. Meet with Departmental management to assess recruitment needs and develop multi-faceted recruitment plans to include immediate and longer-term needs. - Perform full life cycle recruiting to include sourcing, networking, interviewing, reference checking and compensation offers for leadership level roles. Proactively maintains talent pipelines for leadership level roles. - Provide consultation, training, and problem solving related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, Internet Applicant Rule, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other applicable regulations. Serve as a mentor to Talent Acquisition Consultants and Administrative Staff and provide guidance in all areas of recruitment for MCW. - Fully utilize and leverage applicant tracking system (ATS), internet, social networks, and other web tools to identify, attract, and recruit candidates for open positions as well as to develop a diverse pool of candidates for on-going business needs. Coach and mentor TA staff on sourcing and leading practice system use. - Effectively partner with departments to assist in workforce planning and identify ways to improve diversity hiring efforts and propose creative sourcing strategies for niche/hard to fill roles. - Build formal and informal networks to achieve high credibility and success in role. Develop and maintain strong partnerships within MCW as well as in the community in an effort to position MCW as a destination of choice for top talent. - Design and prepare comprehensive metrics reporting system to effectively monitor, analyze and benchmark institutional progress in workforce planning. Identify and analyze trends in data and partner department leadership to partner with the TA Supervisor identify courses of action in response to analysis of the data. Create dashboard reports for leadership regarding workforce and diversity and inclusion trends at the department or academic unit level. - Participate as project team member and collaborate with Office of Faculty Affairs, Human Resources and the Dean's Office team members on, implementation and execution of strategic initiatives and assorted projects related workforce diversity and inclusion, workforce planning; talent acquisition; and onboarding. - Together with Human Resources Consultants, provide guidance and consult with department leadership on employment related actions within their department that emphasize acquisition and retention of top talent. Identify trends in issues to initiate continuous improvement and identify longer term solutions. - Assure that the company complies with various federal and state laws and regulations. Audit requisitions to ensure all the appropriate documentation is uploaded. Identify trends/issues and recommend solutions to correct the process as needed. - Serve a primary point of contact for MCW leaders as well as outside institutions to coordinate internships, externships, and/or clinical rotations. - Other duties and special projects as assigned Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Strong communication skills (oral and written) with an ability to facilitate engaging discussions/presentations and create written reports. Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to collaborate in multiple and diverse projects. Strong project management and computer skills in Microsoft Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines. Knowledge of Human Resources policies and best practices; familiarity with MCW culture and ability to generally align talent and organizational development with MCW's mission and values as well as policies, procedures and practices. Attention to detail and focus on high-quality outcomes.
