We are searching for candidates to be considered for an Associate position specialising in Pensions for a leading and award-winning international commercial law firm.

Pensions Associate – The Role

* Provide clear pension advice

* Advising both trustee and corporate clients

* Benefit change projects and de-risking exercises

* Drafting scheme documents

* Interpreting rules, trustee powers and discretions

* Scheme valuation negotiations and funding solutions

* Restructurings and winding up

* Buy-in and buy-out projects

* Pensions Litigation

Pensions Associate – Candidate Requirements

* Proven pensions experience

* Wide range of pension knowledge

* Experience in drafting scheme documentation

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise

* Proficient in use of a legal document management systems

* Attention to detail

* Flexibility to support client development and attend networking events
