Hygiene Team Leader

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Hygiene Team Leader to be part of a team within the manufacturing industry. You will be managing the team and the hygiene services on a day-to-day basis, responsible for documenting all regimes and implementations.

You will be reporting to the Hygiene Manager.

Duties include:

Control Hygiene team members at all times to make sure they wear PPE.
To identify any issues when they arise and report to your Hygiene Manager.
Report any Food Safety and Health & Safety concerns and ensure the correct forms are complete.
To achieve a "right first time" clean, following set work instructions and safety
Carry out daily/weekly/monthly/ad hoc cleaning tasks.
Take part in daily GMP audits.
Timely and accurate completion of related documents and records.
To ensure hygiene operatives cleaning machines are following the correct guidelines.
To manage and develop hygiene staff on the shift to ensure they are proactive and carry out their job roles in a safe and effective manner.
Carry out start-up/inspection checks of cleaning equipment and report any damages.
Carry out chemical titration check.
To organise and control stock issues and generate stock replenishment orders Essential experience

Previous hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment.
Supervising a team.
Level 2 Food Safety.
Basic knowledge of COSHH.
Basic BRC understanding.
Previous knowledge of hygiene practices
Numerate & literate and able to follow instructions. Benefits
