Life Insurance Agent
Salary - £30,000 (increase up to £50,000 with a progression plan)
OTE £70,000
Monday - Thursday 9:30am-6:30pm
Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have worked in roles such as: Protection Specialist, Insurance Broker, Outbound Sales, Telesales, B2B Sales, B2C Sales, Sales Advisor, Sales Consultant or Life Insurance.
Overview:-
* This role focuses on handling outbound and incoming leads produced by the company’s marketing activity and generating business from various data sources.
* You are the sales contact for prospective customers.
* You will utilise your knowledge, experience and persuasion skills, to optimise the number of sales opportunities through selling insurance and other related products.
* You will be responsible for the accurate gathering of information and assessing the client’s financial situation.
* Your role will encompass reporting and supplying management information to your direct line manager or to your team leader, which will identify opportunities to increase sales potential.
Core Duties:-
* Achieve individual and team sales targets through following the sales process and making advised sales of Personal and General Insurance.
* Advising best solutions for customers from our wide product range.
* Deliver sufficient information to the customers to demonstrate the benefits of purchasing a product through the business
* Utilise the client information data to maximise sales conversion and deliver appropriate levels of service.
* Utilise the software systems available in an organised and appropriate way to achieve sales targets and deliver good customer service in a compliant manner.
* Provide call, quote and sales information to Management as required.
Desirable experience
* 3 plus years previous financial services/ insurance sales experience.
* Life insurance background
* Knowledge of personal insurance industry i.e life, C.I.C and an appreciation of the links to other related areas of the Financial Services industry
