Air Conditioning Engineer

Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Air Conditioning Engineer at our client based in Alfreton. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day install, service and maintenance of various Air Conditioning Systems, with some exposure to the chiller and refrigeration sides of the business as and when needed. The engineer will also provide excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the systems together with an understanding of the relationship between process, and the cooling system. Full technical support for all our engineers is provided in-house, with a vast knowledge base of the systems we maintain, and the processes we serve.
Qualifications & requirements

* Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance skills

* Experience with oil cooling systems beneficial.

* Strong customer service skills

* Excellent problem-solving abilities

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Relevant Qualifications in Air Conditioning and HVAC (FGAS Essential)

* Experience in the process cooling industry is a big plus.

Familiarity with the major brands would be desirable:

* Mitsubishi Electric/Heavy

* Daikin

* Fujitsu

* Denco

* Toshiba etc.

Additional Information
The engineer will operate generally within a 30–50-mile radius of the office in Alfreton with a couple of exceptions. Working hours are 08:30 – 17:00 with a 16:00 finish on a Friday. Callout 1 in 4 with currently £100 a week (£1200 per year) standby. O/T is x1.5 Monday to Saturday, x2.0 on a Sunday.
