As Abatec continues to grow, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to join our growing team, we have recently applied and gained a government licence that permits it to supply labour for the food manufacturing sector.
Within the Southwest, we are very lucky and proud to produce some of the best household food produce we all see in our supermarkets, and we are looking for someone with a natural flair for sales to promote our licence to the local market.
Role Responsibilities:
* Developing new business opportunities using a range of different techniques
* Creating and developing relationships within the food manufacturing environment
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and contacting new customers, typically over the phone in the first instance.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
* Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Abatec requires a Business Development Manager with:
* A positive attitude
* Full driving license
* The Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* A track record of sales
* Strong negotiation skills
