Our prestigious Client based in Saxilby are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their busy team.

About the role:

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll become a key member of a dedicated and rapidly growing team as a sales professional with the ability and confidence to generate contract leads from major manufacturing organisations internationally. You will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and qualifying potential leads for our sales team. You will be responsible for developing and executing lead generation strategies to attract and engage prospects, ultimately converting them into qualified leads. Your primary focus will be on outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to drive business growth.

· Identify and research target markets and industries to create a list of potential leads.

· Utilise various tools and technologies to conduct outbound prospecting activities.

· Qualify leads through strategic questioning and research to assess their fit with our products/services.

· Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure smooth transition.

· Track and analyse lead generation metrics to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve lead generation efforts.

· Submission of key KPI results in a timely manner.

· Tracking and recording of performance against agreed targets.

· Working as part of a team to deliver on budgets.

· One Key Number reporting- Number of Leads generated.

About you:

· Proven experience in lead generation, sales, or business development, ideally B2B

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.

· Proficiency in CRM software and lead generation tools.

· Develop and maintain relationships with leads through ongoing communication, providing relevant information, and addressing any inquiries to move them through the sales funnel.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits:

· Starting salary £30,000 pa

· 21 days holiday, plus BH

· Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
