Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor.
Location: Derby, East Midlands.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £36k + Training + Benefits
We are working closely with a multi-disciplined and renowned Asbestos/Environmental Consultancy. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts across the Midlands region. You will be P402 qualified and will have extensive experience carrying out Asbestos Surveys across Local Authority, Industrial, Educational and Social Housing sites across the Midlands region. For the successful candidate, our client can offer cross training into other environmental sectors, company pension scheme and competitive salary.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Beeston, Nottingham, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Coalville, Lichfield, Tamworth, Market Harborough, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, Solihull, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent qualification is essential to the role.
" Will have a background working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Able to show excellent practical knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Will be confident using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Able to communicate efficiently.
The Role:
" Undertaking management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Carrying out sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Working in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using information gathered from site, producing detailed reports based on TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice.
