We are recruiting for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our busy engineering function that services an expanding FMCG company in Derby.
Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Derby
Salary: £50,000
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off (days and nights) As a Maintenance Engineer your role will involve:
To carry out daily maintenance within set budgets and across a variety of trades. This will include planned and reactive maintenance, keeping accurate maintenance logs and records
Carrying out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdowns to minimise equipment downtime
Execute work is carried out to the highest possible standards in a clean and orderly manner across the whole of the site
Carry out routine repairs as required within the remit of your role or escalate appropriately as requiredTo be successful in this role the candidate will be:
Apprentice trained / NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering
Worked within a production / manufacturing business previously
You will have the ability to work under pressure often un-supervised
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
A flexible and proactive approach to work
