Lexus and/or Toyota of Kingsport is currently seeking a highly motivated Automotive Service Consultant to join our team. As an Automotive Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the overall service experience for our clients. This role requires strong communication skills, technical knowledge of automotive services, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs
- Provide accurate estimates and recommendations for services based on customer needs
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and efficient completion of services
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles and any additional service recommendations
- Resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and prompt manner
- Maintain accurate and detailed service records
- Upsell additional services or maintenance packages as appropriate
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and trends
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Consultant or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using automotive service software and computer systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
- Valid driver's license
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification is a plus
