EMBS Engineering are working with one of our long-standing partners, who have established themselves as one of the market-leading precision engineering companies within the UK regarding their manufacturing capabilities.

As such, our client is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their company on a permanent basis. The business is currently experiencing growth and holds a strong order book with new and existing customers.

As a Quality Inspector, you will be reading and interpreting work instructions to ensure that all processes have been followed and that all documentation is recorded correctly. You will be required to carry out inspections in accordance with relevant plans to ensure that components are conforming before passing on to subsequent operations. Part of your role as an Inspector will require you to book work onto the MRP system to ensure accurate WIP records and follow up on root cause analysis for non-conformance issues.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate;

* Previously worked in a precision engineering environment within a quality role

* Experience of carrying out "first off" inspections using manual equipment

* Able to operate CMM machines

* Confidence with analyzing and recording results to be able to make appropriate quality decisions

* Strong ability to manage workloads effectively and work in an organized, efficient manner
