Description
Implement, monitor, and review health & safety protocols within the engineering & manufacturing department.
Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Develop safety training programs for staff and ensure their effective implementation.
Investigate and report on any safety incidents or accidents.
Engage with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety legislation.
Collaborate with management to cultivate a safety-conscious workplace culture.
Provide regular safety performance reports to senior management.Profile
A successful Health & Safety Officer should have:
Proficiency in developing and implementing safety protocols.
Experience in conducting risk assessments and workplace inspections.
A background in developing and delivering safety training programs.
Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
