Our client based in Derby City centre specialise in site surveying, Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced land surveyor to join their team.
The role will be site based and a valid CSCS card is required. You will be tasked to survey sites in and around the midlands with the possibility of working further afield at times but not regularly.
This vacancy id full time permanent and interview process will be required for selected candidates
Hours of work – 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Job details
* Carry out site surveys as required by the work instruction
* Undertake investigative land surveys and conduct paperwork in accordance with company procedures
* Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients
* Create Lan d Survey Reports
* Carry out appropriate quality control checks and issue data to CAD
* Check all survey drawings before they are issued to our customer
* Mentor and train less experienced surveyors, as required
* Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members
Candidate requirements
* Experienced in use of Electromagnetic location and ground penetrating radar.
* A good understanding of common industry practices and standards in regards to land surveying
* Good working knowledge of surveying equipment,
* Able to work collaboratively in a team and deal with clients on site.
* Clean & Full driving License
* Right to Work in UK with good comprehension of the English language
