The company
A UK-wide Manufacturing company based in Leicester, with over 80 years of experience in supplying tier-one components, specialising in machining, castings and designing jigs & fixtures for several different industries. They are looking to grow their team within their 100,000 sq foot facility and continue to push their quality culture throughout the business.
The role
A CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator is now required to join the team permanently. You will be setting up, operating, and programming CNC milling machines for their manufacturing and production processes. Your job is to ensure that their machines are working correctly and efficiently, helping them meet production goals and quality standards. This is a four-day workweek (Mon-Thu) with 39 hours/week and flexible work options available.
You will take responsibility for:
Program and set CNC milling machinery to manufacture diverse products and perform various functions.
Adjust the tooling of the CNC machine as required.
Maintain precise records and documentation related to your work.
Promptly communicate any issues or failures that could affect the organisation and its clients/customers to the Line Manager.
What you need
It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have the following:
1+ years experience within a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator position in the UK.
Program, set and operate in Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
In-depth understanding of CNC milling machinery and its operation.
Other DESIRABLE skills include:
Understanding of CNC Turning machinery and its operation.
