Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £16.00 with Enhancements and Sleep-ins
Location: Hastings, East Sussex

Prospero Health and Social Care are proud to be supporting a leading provider of residential childcare and education with services across the South coast. They are currently looking for Residential Support Workers for a medium sized children's home for 9-17 year olds in Hastings.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable and growing children's residential services care group, providing safe, caring, and nurturing living environments for children and young people.
You will implement care plans in collaboration with the team you are working with, support young people in developing their living skills and access education / therapy, promote positive behaviour and helping individuals to manage their emotions and behaviours effectively, and help build positive relationships with the individuals themselves, their families and other professionals working in care and in education.
Placements Available
Supporting young people between the ages of 8 and 16 with additional needs in a residential children's home setting.
Supporting teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 in semi-independent accommodation.
A past placement may have broken down and an individual needs to be moved to other accommodation on a temporary basis.
Respite care for an individual that needs support while a family needs to step away temporarily.
Outreach support for vulnerable children and young people.Requirements:
Must have the right to work in the UK
2 year of experience in the UK care sector supporting children and young people
Over 1 year of experience as a Children Support Worker
Driver with access to a vehicle (desirable)
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. (desirable)
Level 3 in Residential Childcare / Children and Young People's Services (strongly desired)
Sense of humour (required) Position details
