We are hiring for a Powder Coater to undertake paint job applications from small to large products, ensuring the efficient production and timely delivery of quality products to our customers. This role involves working according to company processes, standards, and operating procedures.
Duties of a Powder Coater:
Prepare products, including shot blasting, Vixen surface treatment machine cleaning, and filling manufacturing imperfections.
Load products onto the paint line and apply primer when required.
Mix paint elements and electrostatically apply powder coat using a range of finishes.
Manage oven settings and temperatures.
Follow supplier quality specifications and job pack instructions.
Conduct post-production quality inspections and troubleshoot any production issues.
Meet daily and weekly targets, reporting progress to the line manager.
Skills and Experience:
As a Powder Coater, you should have experience in:
Product preparation techniques.
Loading and painting products.
Mixing paint elements and applying powder coat.
Following quality specifications and job pack instructions.
Using hand and electric tools.
Conducting quality inspections and troubleshooting production issues.
