Technical Sales Engineer required for our client, a UK leader in the renewable water management industry, based on the outskirts of Newark-on-Trent.
Our client has been working in the industry for over 20 years, with a team of over 30 members spread across their office and across the UK completing installations and maintenance of their products, and the successful Technical Sales Engineer will be heading up a new sales focus within the business.
They currently have their rainwater and greywater harvesting systems installed in a wide variety of commercial settings including football stadiums, entertainment arenas, universities, and fast-food outlets, and they currently save their clients over £7 billion of water every year.
Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration
Salary starting at £45,000 (guide only - negotiable depending on experience)
Team bonus scheme with OTE of £7,500
Additional personal bonus scheme available
Company car, mobile phone, and laptop provided
40 hour working week
Company pension providedTechnical Sales Engineer Position Responsibilities
Travelling across the UK to meet with potential and existing clients
Building relationships with clients, generating sales leads, and maximising the sales potential of the companies existing client base
Completing technical surveys on site with clients to specify which products fit their current needs
Liaising directly with clients and the internal sales teams to generate and deliver quotes, along with working with the client to negotiate contract terms and complete tenders
Meeting sales targets and expanding the companies presence across the industry.Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements
Strong technical background within the water industry, from a water treatment, pumps, or rainwater harvesting background ideally
Previous experience completing site surveys, compiling quotes, and delivering them to clients
Demonstrable sales experience and a background in meeting sales targets
Full UK driving licence
