Our client specialises in major construction projects mainly across the East Midlands region and is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Lincoln-based team.
You will be responsible for managing projects up to £15m including subcontract procurement, payments and measures, cost management and valuations, build estimates and variation costings, forecasting and cost value reporting.
Applicants must have strong experience as a QS in the construction industry, either at intermediate or senior level. You must have knowledge of JCT and NEC form of contracts and experience managing projects in a variety of sectors including residential, commercial, food, retail, education, affordable housing.
A full driving licence is required, as the role will involve work-related travel to sites, mainly within a 40-50 mile radius of Lincoln but occasionally further afield. A company car or car allowance is provided.
