Lincolnshire (A46 / A15 area).
£35,000 + overtime.

Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a CMM Operator to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire. Does this sound like the type of company that can offer you the secure career prospects you are seeking?
Working as part of the small, friendly quality team, you will ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance / specifications efficiently and accurately, and deploy robust inspection practices and techniques. The key responsibilities for your new role as CMM Operator are as follows:
* Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods.
* Setting and adjusting CMM programs.
* Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately.
* Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution.
* Working with other team members within the quality department, when required.
My client would like to find someone who is trained in CMM programming and operating. Ideally, they are looking for someone who has worked with Mitutoyo machinery using the COSMOS platform however, they are also happy to consider people who have worked with alternative machinery.
Regardless of previous expertise, you will have the ability to read technical drawings and specifications, be a team player, by nature, and have good verbal and written communication skills.
In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of £35,000, with overtime being readily available for those who want it. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4pm and 7.30am – 12.30pm on a Friday.
