We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our clients thriving sales team on the outskirts of Newark.
The position provides a key point of contact for the company’s clients before, during and after the sale and give technical advice on the design and operation of the systems. You will liaise regularly with our other departments to ensure that the customer experience is meeting business expectations.
You will assist colleagues with tenders through face-to-face visits and will spend most of your time travelling to visit clients or with our team at our headquarters near Newark, Nottinghamshire.
You will be splitting your time between the office and visiting clients who are based all over the UK. You will need to be able to access the head office on a regular basis but due to the national nature of the role, you do not necessarily need to be located in Nottinghamshire. Due to the nature of this hours are aimed at 40 but additional could be required due to travel.
You will be given leads to follow up on by the sales team but should also be generating your own. You will be responsible for managing your own time and using this for the benefit of the business.
The Package
* Salary starting from £45,000 and is negotiable and dependant on experience.
* Individual annual bonus for hitting targets.
* Team bonus scheme with OTE of £7,500 +
* Company mobile, car and laptop.
* Hotel and Subsistence allowance provided.
We are looking for a personable but resilient individual with a technical field sales background (ideally in the construction industry but not essential)
