Class 1 Shunters

Class 1 Shunters required for immediate starts in Northampton.

Shift - 4 Days on 4 days off. 
06:00-18:00

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the premises.
Maneuver vehicles into loading and unloading bays according to schedules.
Perform pre-operational checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate movement of goods.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
Assist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as required.Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
Previous experience as a shunter or in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
