Purpose Of The Role:

To work closely with TT and CL warehouses overseeing all trailer/truck movements ensuring timely and correct placements. To follow the correct processes in an efficient and timely manner ensuring the operation in the TT Warehouse delivers outstanding service to customer specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full accountability for all trailer/truck movements onsite

• Full accountability for bay management

• Housekeeping of bays including under and around any bay in TT control

• To report damages following correct procedures

• Full accountability for the loading and unloading of European and UK vehicles

• Check measure consignments

• Accurate recording of information and barcode scanning

• Direct responsibility for ensuring that space allocation for each vehicle is maximised to its fullest potential (Load Yields)

• To be proactive when dealing with all damages, ie, documenting the issue and communicating with line management

• Take photographs of damaged and surplus goods

• General housekeeping of the TT warehouse

• Use of computer to check information

• Ensuring all consignments are place in the correct postcode lane

• Scanning products onto the system from each consignment

Any other tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience on MHE

• Flexible approach with regard to shift start times

• Driving Licence

• Strong team player

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work at a fast pace

• Ability to work on own initiative / unsupervised

• Computer literate

• Manual handling skills

• Awareness of health and safety issues

• Numeracy and literacy skills
