Here at Impact Recruitment we are hiring Machine Operators for one of our clients in Northampton. They mass produce their product for a number of well known retailers across the UK and are looking for skilled Machine Operatives that they can train on a range of their machinery. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven work history who is looking for a long-term permanent position.
Salary: £13phr - £15phr (DoE)
Hours: 6am - 1pm & 1pm - 8pm (Weekly Rotating)
Location: Northampton
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate machines to produce finished products.
Monitor machine performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal output.
Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
Troubleshoot and address minor machine issues to minimise downtime.
Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Complete production records and reports as required.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Machine Operative or related processes
Technical proficiency in operating and troubleshooting machinery
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to machine maintenance
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
