What does the role involve?
EMBS Engineering is in partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire that is a globally recognised, market leading precision engineering / manufacturing business that supports world renowned industry leaders.
Due to our client's increased workload, they are looking to expand their Machining Division and are therefore looking for skilled CNC Machinists to join their growing team and support projects for both new and existing customers.
This is a great opportunity for a CNC Machinist worker who is looking to utilise their skills and grow in a company that specialises in the manufacture of complex, detailed components for predominantly the aerospace and defence markets.
With multiple locations across the UK, this current opportunity lies within their Nottingham site where you will be working alongside a multitude of talented engineers in a modern, up to date environment.
What experience do you need?
* Strong precision engineering background
* Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Turner
* Experience setting and operating multi axis CNC machines
* Experience working with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol
* Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
* Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
* Experience with machining to tight tolerances
* Confident working with small to medium-sized components
* Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
What do you get?
* Hourly rate: Circa £17 per hour + Shift Allowance
* Shifts Available
* 4 Days - Monday to Wednesday 6am -4.30pm, Thursday 6am- 3.30pm
* Weekend Days - Friday to Sunday 6.00am- 6pm
* Weekend Nights - Friday to Sunday 6pm - 6am
* Overtime available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)
