The Role
Working within the R&D team and taking the lead of software projects
Designing, implementing and maintaining software in C++ for new and existing products
Working closely along-side the electronic and mechanical team on technical reviews, feasibility studies.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Degree Educated in software engineering / computer science discipline
Strong knowledge and experience working with Embedded C++ for applications / products
Experience building software for Windows and WinCE or realtime operating systems
Excellent knowledge of real-time and concurrent principles, networked devices and distributed processesLead Software Engineer
Desirable Experience
Experience of electronics control/interfacing motors/sensors etc
Knowledge of Linux OS
Expereince leading projects and consulting with clients/stakeholders
