Job Title: Sales Estimator
Working Model / Location: On Site / Nottingham
Salary + Benefits: £25,000 - £38,000 DOE
Sector: Metal / Fabrication
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales and design teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Review design specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents to assess project scope
Analyze materials, labor, and other costs to prepare accurate project estimates.
Utilize pricing databases, historical data, and industry benchmarks to inform cost calculations
Identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize project profitability
Present cost estimates and pricing strategies to clients during sales meetings and negotiations
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing information
Maintain accurate records of estimates, revisions, and related documentation
Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
About You:
Proven experience as an estimator in a manufacturing or construction environment (DESIRED)
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office applications
Prior experience in sales or business development is a plus
