Our client is an award winning, Mutual Building Society who are customer focussed and have an enviable record of long term success. Owing to internal secondment to a major IT project, they have a requirement for a Regulatory Finance Manager on a 14 month FTC basis, focussed on the management and preparation of all regulatory reporting to the PRA, FCA and Bank of England.

Managing 1 member of staff, you will also be responsible for the management of the front office Treasury function and preparation of policies and procedures relating to liquidity management, balance sheet risk management including stress testing and ALCO reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

* To take ownership for the preparation of all periodic returns (monthly, quarterly, and annual) to the PRA, FCA and Bank of England and any future reporting requirements under European rules, ensuring compliance with rules and guidance.

* To place money on deposit as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.

* To borrow wholesale funds as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.

* To transact interest rate derivatives with counterparties as instructed by the Director of Finance and ensure in accordance with Policy.

* To provide treasury reporting to Senior Management.

* To manage the TFS and other Bank of England sterling monetary tools.

* To update the ILAAP and maintain the A/B split and provide liquidity stress testing to support the liquidity risk monitoring.

* Provide reporting pack and commentary for ALCO.

* To support the Finance Director in monitoring the management of capital, including capital modelling and updating the ICAAP.

Working in a relatively small team, we are looking for a hands on candidate with the following skills and experience:

* In depth experience of PRA Financial Reporting, whether regulatory or statutory

* Good knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements for PRA regulated mortgage lenders

* Highly competent in Excel and Microsoft packages

Our client ideally looking for candidates who can attend their office in Mansfield on a weekly basis (ideally Mon / Tues), as this will mean they can be considered for a more permanent role in the future. However, owing to the FTC nature of the assignment, they are open to candidates living further afield in the UK, however you would be required to travel to the office still but circa. 4 times a month rather than weekly
