Our client is the largest designer and supplier of energy efficient homes in the UK and they are seeking an Roof Truss Designer to join their factory near Horsham, West Sussex.
Responsibilities
Preparing detailed truss and joist drawings.
Accurate specifications and documentation for manufacturing team.
Working closely with colleagues to provide effective solutions.Requirements
Experience of Wolf
In depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction materials
Attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable
Knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous
Experience in other industry-standard software considered.
Understanding of UK Building Regulations
Willing to learn new design packages.
