Our client, a technical automation & drives distributor, is on the lookout for a Product Support Engineer to join their growing team. The role provides support for the company's automation product categories, with a focus on motors, gears, electrical drives and sensing/measurement. 

Key Responsibilities - Product Support Engineer:

Provide technical support to customers on Motors & Gears, Electrical Drives, and Sensing/Measurement technologies.
Respond promptly and effectively to customer sales and technical inquiries.
Maintain an active project list, ensuring all actions and follow-ups are completed.
Develop expertise in competitor products and perform cross-referencing.
Conduct product demonstrations when required.
Assist in processing customer returns and resolving related issues.

Qualifications & Experience - Product Support Engineer:

Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science); HNC/HND or equivalent technical qualifications will also be considered.
Knowledge or experience in Motors & Gears, Electrical Drives, or Sensing & Measurement technologies is beneficial.
Strong desire to expand knowledge in automation technology.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Must have permanent eligibility to work in the UK.
