About the Role:
We have a junior accounting role that has become available. Are you a motivated and detail-oriented person who has studied, or wants to get into finance? Join our clients growing team and play a vital role in supporting their clients. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, providing accurate and timely financial services.
Responsibilities:
* Learn how to prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for a diverse range of clients.
* Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording daily transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
* Assist with tax preparation and planning for individual and business clients.
* Analyse financial data and prepare reports to help clients understand their financial performance and make informed decisions.
* Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and address their accounting needs.
* Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations.
* May assist with audits and other compliance procedures (depending on the role).
* Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
* Use accounting software efficiently (e.g., Sage, Xero).
Qualifications:
* Gradate or Part Qualified
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
