Are you an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor that is currently looking for a new challenge?
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Highways / Utilities Quantity Surveyor QS to join a client based in the Basildon area of Essex. This is a full-time permanent position within a small and friendly commercial team working on highways and utilities projects. The company is well established with a strong order book and can offer a strong path to project and senior Quantity Surveyor level.
ROLE:
* Working on highways maintenance contracts throughout Essex
* An understanding of NEC Contracts
* Work with internal and external colleagues to ensure consistency in service information, target costs, and budget estimates.
* Commercial responsibility for allocated schemes/packages of work
* Supporting compliance with processes and procedures of the business.
CANDIDATE:
* HNC or Degree Qualified (Client will look at candidates that are still taking their degree / HNC via day release.
* Previous experience within the highways, utilities, groundworks or civils sector is desired but not essential
