Our client is a market leader in the Specialist Joinery and Interior Fit Out sector, that notably feature on London’s most iconic and complex construction schemes, which include Google HQ and project Bloomberg, by undertaking detailed Joinery and Interior packages from Design Stage through to, production (Via their state of the art workshop) and installation. Besides working on flagship contracts they also specialise in super prime residential projects working on the most extravagant properties in the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE
A great opportunity for an experienced Joinery professional with a background in fit out to work within a driven environment, hungry for success. You’ll be responsible for pricing joinery elements of work. Working in tandem with joinery workshop manager & directors to ensure the in- house capability is there to produce items from tenders. Adhere and engage with the Quality Management system and other company procedures as appropriate.
* Reviewing tender documents and extracting specifications and drawings that are applicable to joinery manufacture.
* Attend and actively participate in production meetings, ensuring actions are cleared in accordance with agreed timescales.
* Taking joinery drawings from concept and pricing them, requesting information from the client, or making assumptions where specifications or details are missing.
* Review drawings for potential savings ensuring they remain in accordance with the employer’s requirements, and these are as The Company tender.
* Ensure the priced joinery is compliant with drawings and employer’s requirements.
* Issuing workshop orders for manufacture & tracking costs and spend.
* Always maintain and enhance the company’s reputation as a specialist contractor, be professional and consistent so that we are seen as ‘best in class’ in everything we do, to help raise our profile and secure future business.

You will be well rewarded for your hard work with a remuneration package that will correspond to the individuals experience and skills. The guideline basic salary is £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate is expected to have previous experience within joinery and Fit out and is able to incorporate best proactive for construction methods to guarantee efficiency. Being degree qualified is preferred however not essential. Have strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads
