Salary: £26,398 to £31,544 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an IAG qualified Careers Adviser to deliver information, advice, and guidance across Kent, Medway, and East Sussex, supporting individuals to maximize their potential. The successful candidate will primarily work in the community but may also be required to deliver sessions virtually.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Careers Information, Advice, and Guidance to adults on a range of opportunities, including learning, career paths, and employment.

Engage with individuals in the community and virtually to assess their needs and aspirations.

Deliver tailored guidance sessions to support individuals in making informed decisions about their education, employment, or training.

Maintain accurate records of interactions and outcomes using relevant systems and databases.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to signpost individuals to appropriate services and opportunities.

Essential/Desirable Criteria:

Level 4 Diploma in Careers Information and Advice or equivalent qualification.

Previous experience delivering careers guidance in a community setting.

Knowledge of local education, training, and employment opportunities in Kent, Medway, and East Sussex.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.

Experience using digital platforms to deliver guidance sessions virtually.

Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in guidance practice.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to travel within Kent, Medway, and East Sussex as required.
