Responsibilities of English Lead Teacher:

Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive and engaging English curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes language proficiency, critical thinking, and literary analysis.
Lead a team of English teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance their teaching effectiveness and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Design and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities, incorporating a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies.
Foster a love for literature and language by introducing students to a wide range of literary works, genres, and authors from diverse cultures and time periods.
Cultivate students' writing skills through structured writing workshops, providing feedback and guidance to help them develop their voice and improve their written expression.
Promote active reading and comprehension skills through thoughtful discussions, analysis, and interpretation of literary texts.
Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their growth.

Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification or license in English or a relevant subject area.
Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level, with a track record of student success.
Strong knowledge of English language, literature, grammar, and composition.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide and inspire a team of teachers.
