Inspector

A world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are looking to recruit an Inspector to verify the conformity of component parts and assemblies. If you have previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment with some inspection experience then this could be a great move for you.

Duties:

Inspect parts and assemblies using a range of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, co-ordinate measuring machines and faro arms
Inspect component parts and assemblies to verify applicable machine tool set up processes and batch sampling requirements
Complete formal First Article inspection activities
Complete component and assembly testing
Process / complete non-conformance related documentation
Support inspection related activities at other locations when required
Complete and authorise formal release certification

Experience:

Maths/English GCSE, (or equivalent) at grade C or above
Experience gained in an engineering environment ideally apprenticeship trained
Experience of basic measuring equipment would be ideal
Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office products, SAP experience preferable
Must be a team player and able to work to deadlines

Hours 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, Early finish on Fridays (1.00pm)
