The Basics:

Location: Southend-on-Sea

Role: Tool room engineer

Position: Permanent

Holidays: 33 days

Benefits: Death in service x2 of salary, pension

Shift choices available:

Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:30-12:30 = £17.14 per hour/£34759 per annum + OT = earnings of 37000 and upwards achievable

Or

Monday to Thursday 19.30 to 04.30, Friday 14.30 to 19.30 = £22.80 per hour/£42182 per annum + OT = earnings of £45000 and upwards achievable.

Overview:

We now require a Manual Machinist to join the toolroom. Working in a first class precision engineering manufacturing environment producing components for a business that have manufacturing plants across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate / Tool room engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

- Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial

- Competent at reading engineering drawings

- Previous experience in manual milling - working a Bridgeport machine beneficial

- Some CNC experience could be useful
