Contract Manager - Renewable Energy
Cambridge
£45 per hour
Full Time Contract ( 6-9 months long)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Contract Manager in Camridge. This is a contract without a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
Assure target cost and budget estimate requests on the NEC Contracts
Advise the team on the status of target costs and whether they are contractually and commercially compliant
Interrogate the costs management systems for both the client and contractors, ensuring compliance with prime records
Provide guidance on the NEC form of Contract with particular emphasis of change management for the contracts and frameworks
Attend meetings with officers and contractors, offer guidance and support to the teams throughout Place & Sustainability
The candidate:
HNC or degree in Quantity Surveying is essential
Relevant professional status, RICS, ICE, CIHT or relevant industry is preferred
CSCS card, CITB accredited is preferred
Experience in a similar role, dealing with civic engineering is essential
Knowledge of NEC contracts is essential
