Senior Electrical Estimator Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical Estimator to join a well-established, Market Leading M&E Contractor that specializes in Commercial Offices, Life Sciences, Banking, Data Centres, Education and Government Building Sectors. The position will be based in their fabulous new offices located in Cambridge.
The Role
👉 As the Electrical Estimator you will be required to produce accurate estimates of the material and labour costs for the Electrical side of the project.
👉 Prepare accurate Electrical estimates and tender documentation.
👉 The Electrical Estimator will analyze the received quotes for Electrical material and labour costs and negotiate to achieve the ‘best value’
👉 You will be required to understand the estimating processes and utilize the data to work in an accurate, organized methodical way.
👉 You will be required to prepare “take offs” from the schematics and have an overall good understanding of M&E technical drawings.
👉 Create Electrical Estimates / Quotations to potential customers, ensuring that the customer and business needs are met and the estimate is in line with the requirements
👉 Evaluate the technical Electrical services requirements are met, estimating the costs, determining the prices and margins.
👉 The Electrical Estimator will be able to evaluate bid opportunities and liaise with potential M&E Clients, working within the project deadlines and produce accurate Electrical estimates.
Qualifications & Skills required;
👉 Ideally hold either a Building Services Engineering / Electrical qualification
👉 Worked previously in a similar position for over 5 years
👉 Excellent I.T Skills (Microsoft Word/Excel)
👉 Experience of using Amtech software
👉 Strong Communication & Negotiation skills
