JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Customer Support Technician to join our team at Smithville, TN. The ideal candidate should be well-spoken, intelligent, and possess significant work experience along with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and mechanical aptitude. The primary responsibility of the Field Technician will be to interpret blueprints/schematics effectively.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Navigate customers through the company website and other resources to diagnose issues with their purchased products.
Provide technical support and guidance to customers over the phone, or via email.
Document customer interactions, including issues reported and resolutions provided, for future reference and analysis.
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
Read and interpret blueprints/schematics accurately.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions.
EDUCATION:
Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience
REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
