We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Cambridge. They are recruiting for a Management Accountant on a full-time basis to join their growing team. The role will be on a hybrid basis, and ideally you will have experience working in a similar position. However, our client could be open to candidates making their first move out of practice.
Typical duties include:
* Assisting with the maintenance of the day-to-day finance function
* Providing financial insight to non-finance stakeholders
* Monthly variance analysis
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Ensuring statutory accounts are completed in a timely manner
* Assisting with financial planning, budgets, and forecasts
* Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider team
You will have:
* A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) would be preferred
* Strong communication, both written and verbal
* Excellent excel skills
* The ability to be flexible and be able to support the needs of the business
