Agenda Life Sciences has an exciting new opportunity for a part time experienced Occupational Health Nurse who would be great at multi-tasking and would be confident working with new developing practices and systems.
The role includes management referrals and case management as well as carrying out telephone and video consultations, providing health assessments and general health and wellbeing advice.
This role will be a 25 hour a week, working from home role with occasional travel to sites to meet with clients and employees would be required.
Basic Requirements:
* Occupational Health Nursing Qualification – minimum diploma level
* Clinical nursing experience and occupational health experience
* Previous experience of working as an Occupational Health Worker in a large or mid-sized company/institution
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide support to employees and where appropriate, refer to health professionals
* Liaise with GPs, physiotherapists, or specialists as required
* Perform new starter health assessments
* Maintain medical records
* Maintain confidentiality of employee health information and occupational health notes
* Assess, manage, and undertake health surveillance and health assessments
* Work with the Health and Safety team developing appropriate risk assessments such as DSE, maternity or workplace ergonomics
* Support Health and Safety managers to assess level of risk and determine first aid requirements
* Develop, conduct & manage physical and mental health promotion
* Generate written reports to management
* Ensure to comply with statutory legislation and corporate Occupational Health requirements at all times
* Delivering a proactive face to face technical function involving travel health, health surveillance, fitness assessments, lifestyle sceening and heath and wellbeing campaigns
